These entries were transcribed from different microfilm rolls that covered Navarro Co. Marriage Records. I have now added a name index that will eventually list the names found on these marriage records, along with the volume & page number where the person can be found. Hopefully this will make it a little easier to search for someone without having to go through each individual volume.
To get to a particular volume, click on the highlighted links below. The links with an asterisk (*) are "still in process"; the ones without an asterisk are complete (to the best of my knowledge). There are several volumes of microfilmed marriage records, so the pages will continue to expand for quite a while. I recently ordered the microfilm roll that includes Volumes A, 1, 2, and the first half of Volume 3. The microfilm numbers are included at the top of each volume page. I'm currently in the process of posting more names from Volume 3, as well as posting names from the Navarro County, Texas Freedmen's Marriage records ("Freedman's Licences").

The marriage records for Black couples usually had "fmc" (free man colored) or "fwc" (free woman colored) after the names of the groom & bride. Some records would have the initials after only one name, while other records would have the initials after the second time the names were listed (at the bottom of the certificate). In the future I would like to post some examples of marriage records for some of my ancestors.
