Yellow buttonIf you're ever in Kansas City and you're REALLY craving pizza, Minsky's is the place to go! They also have tasty salads, calzones, pasta dishes, and sandwiches. Their BBQ Chicken pizza on the Original crust is HIGHLY recommended, and any item that uses their 5-Star Cheese ingredients is easily addictive!

Orange buttonThis is where I got my first degree -- McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas. I did a lot of my "growing up" here, and MAC will always have a special place in my heart. And now I can add another chapter to my educational history with the recent completion of my Master's degree from the University of Missouri School of Information Science and Learning Technologies.

Red buttonHow's about a little women's hoops? The WNBA website is bursting at the seams with the latest stats and articles on your favorite players or teams. Let's support women's sports as much as we possibily can!

Violet buttonWhen visiting Kansas City, an absolute MUST-STOP area is the Historic 18th & Vine District, with the American Jazz Museum, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, and the Gem Theater. It's a wonderful place to stop and see some of the local African-American history of the era.

Blue buttonYes...I admit it...when I'm not at work, studying, or doing family history research, you can find me curled up with a dozen or so older Marvel comic books. Go figure....

Green buttonA friend recently asked me what was my favorite sport to watch. My reply? If it's on ESPN, it's my favorite sport to watch! Besides, some of their commercials are TRULY inspired.

Yellow buttonFor Public Radio supporters, KCUR 89.3 FM is pretty good. There's not as much good jazz & blues as there used to be, but they still have great NPR news, interviews and other informative shows.

Orange buttonAfter an up & down year that marked a bit of progress, the Kansas City Royals are expected to build on that progress in 2008. It's up to new manager Trey Hillman and the Boys in Blue to make it happen!
